TRANSPORTATION

We have become aware of the growing number of issues concerning yellow bus transportation, as we are trying our best to assist on getting them resolved. Ms. Partee met with staffing of Student on Thursday to discuss these issues and was assured by John Davis, Director of Transportation (CPS) and Michael Phillips, First Student that yellow bus transportation would improve immediately. Should you have any issues with the bus being extremely late (over 20 minutes) in the am or pm, or scholars not being picked up at all, please call Ms. Partee at 513-381-2126 ext. 18 and leave a message. Indicate the date/time, bus # and the nature of the problem. ( A special thanks to parents/guardians for doing so and event to those that have been helping to transport scholars to school.) We want to continue to keep a tally of issues in the event that we may need to take our concerns to the Board of Education, Cincinnati Public Schools or even the Ohio Department of Education. Our scholars have missed a great deal of instruction because of these issues and we want to make sure that the quality of service improves so that this does not continue to happen. Thank you for your patience and support of our scholars!

Registration has gone extremely well. Yet, we still have about 70 scholars who have not re-registered for next year. We are trying to hold those spaces but will not be able to do so after April 1st. We have had an influx of scholars trying to get into our wonderful school. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE…if you have not re-registered your scholar(s) for the 2015-2016 school year, please do so as soon as possible and before April 1st. We will be at capacity!
