As we continue to offer condolences to Grandma Minnie Jones on the death of her husband, Perry Jones, we ask that you come to support her at the funeral services being held on Saturday, October 18 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 12-1pm with Mass immediately following.

Our Prekindergarten & Latchkey Programs recently had their annual visit from the Ohio Department of Education. The inspection went very well. We are in full compliance with no corrections needed! GREAT JOB!
Parent-Teacher & Scholar conferences will be held on Tuesday, October 21st and Thursday, October 23rd from 5-7pm. Report cards will be given at conferences only! A form was sent home in Thursday folders for scholars in Pre-kindergarten through 8 so that parents/guardians can schedule. Conferences are scheduled based on return of form and time available. If there are any questions, please call the school office. Scholars in 5th-8th will have additional time set by the Junior High Team for conferences. More information forthcoming.

Scholars in grades 6th, 7th & 8th may attend Game Night here at the school FREE of Charge. Scholars will enjoy socializing with each other by playing board games, video games and listening to music on Friday, October 17th from 4:15-6:00 pm in FRH. Parent Volunteers are needed to work the concession stand and chaperone. May acquire Volunteer Hours.

hosting a Halloween Skate Party on Friday, October 31st from 5:00-7:30 pm at the FUN FACTORY. The cost is $6 for admission, skate rental and all you can eat pizza. There will be a Costume Contest, Dance Contest and Scholars will received a Trick-Or-Treat bag.
We are in need of Parents/Guardians to bag candy for our Trick or Treat bags for our scholars. Baggers are needed on Thursday, October 23rd from 5-7 pm in FRH (cafeteria). May acquire Parent Volunteer hours.

Flu season has begun! To cut down on germs, keep your hands washed, sneeze/cough into the arm of your arms, and take your vitamins to avoid illness! Also, if you know your child is ill, PLEASE be sure to keep them home so that our scholars will be germ free.

GREATER CINCINNATI PERFORMING ARTS SOCIETY
This organization was founded in 2007 with a mission of supporting Catholic elementary education by means of tuition assistance, such as St. Joseph Catholic School. They are inviting everyone to their series of performances for the 2014-2015 school year. The first two shows are:

CAREER ONLINE HIGH SCHOOL
Adult residents of Hamilton County now have the opportunity to get their accredited high school diploma and career certification online through a new service from the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County. The Library has launched Career Online High School and is providing a limited number of free scholarships to qualified adult learners looking to advance their careers, prepare for workforce entry and continue their education.
